Hi, I'm Lisa, and I'm the founder of African Starr World.
I want to share something personal with you today – the real reason why this business exists and why I'm so passionate about finding products that actually make life easier for moms.
I'M A SINGLE MOM OF FIVE
Yes, you read that right. Five kids. As a single mom.
So while I might not have twins or triplets, I absolutely understand what it's like to feel like you don't have enough hands, enough time, or enough energy to get through the day.
I know what it's like to juggle multiple feeding times while one child needs help with homework and another needs a diaper change. I know the feeling of being completely overwhelmed by bedtime routines, wondering how I'll ever get everyone ready and out the door on time. I know what it means to literally run out of hands.
I know the exhaustion that seeps into your bones, but you push through anyway because your kids need you. I know about making sacrifices every single day. And I know what it feels like to do it all alone.

I see you trying to do it all. I see you putting everyone else first. I see you researching products at midnight because that's the only quiet time you get. I see you calculating every purchase because money is tight when you're raising kids.

WHY AFRICAN STARR WORLD EXISTS
This business didn't start because I wanted to sell products. It started because I was desperate for solutions.
I was tired of products that promised to help but didn't deliver. Tired of spending money on things that broke or didn't work. Tired of wasting time on complicated baby gear when I needed simple solutions. Tired of feeling like nobody understood what parents of multiple kids actually need.
So I decided to create the store I wish existed when I was drowning in the early years of motherhood.
MY PROMISE TO YOU
Every single product in this store is chosen with one question in mind: "Would this actually make life easier for a busy, overwhelmed, doing-her-best mom?"
If the answer isn't a clear YES, it doesn't make it into my store.
I don't just sell products – I test them against my own experience. Does this save time? Does this give you your hands back? Is it worth the money? Will it actually work when you're juggling multiple kids? Is it simple enough to use when you're exhausted?
These are the questions I ask before anything earns a place in my store.
WHAT I'VE LEARNED AS A MOM OF FIVE
Raising five kids has taught me that time is more valuable than money, though money matters too when you're buying everything in multiples. I've learned that anything hands-free is worth its weight in gold, and that simple solutions beat complicated gadgets every single time.
I've learned that you can't do everything, and that's okay. I've learned that the right tools can make an impossible day manageable. I've learned that moms need support, not judgment. And I've learned that we're all doing the best we can.
